Chapter 1319
"Mom, do you see this? I've brought our enemy here. All the Spencers are either dead or hurt because of me, and the one who started all these is kneeling right here. You can rest in peace in heaven now, right?"
Yerick caressed the tombstone.
"Mom, I'll have them come over to keep you company, okay?"
Yerick's gaze landed coldly on Theodore and Spencer.
"See that pit over there? Go in."
"No!" Rosalie yelled from where she was. "Theo, don't...don't go in!"
Yerick raised the device in his hand. "Go in, or else."
"Don't hurt her," Theodore said. "I'll go in."
He immediately stood up, walked to the pit, and jumped in.
"No!" Rosalie yelled brokenly. "Yerick, kill me! Just kill me!"
Yerick ignored Rosalie and turned his attention to Wesley. "Are you not going to accompany your son? He's much braver than you are."
Wesley was powerless to say anything. He merely threw Yerick a glance before walking into the pit as well.
"Yerry, you should know that killing us all won't bring your mom back to life. It won't make you happy, either," Wesley said.
Although Yerick was his biological son, Wesley couldn't stop himself from feeling resentful toward him for wanting to kill his other son.
Perhaps because he was on the
net
verge of death, Wesley threw all caution to the wind and added, "When I see your mom in the afterlife, I'm sure she'll tell me that she's very disappointed with you. I know the kind of person your mom is She's a good woman. I'm sure she's turning in her grave, knowing how wicked her son is."
At once, Yerick shot Wesley's arm.
"Argh!" Wesley shrieked in pain.
"Yerick, you're crazy!" Theodore yelled furiously.
"I'm going to bury you two alive, so why do you even care about a measly gunshot? Shooting him to death would spare him from suffocating to death," Yerick said carelessly.
Wesley had fainted from the pain.
Yerick chuckled coldly by the pit. "You two, go keep my mom company."
With that, he picked up the steel shovel lying on the floor next to him and started shoveling dirt into the pit.

"No, no! Yerick, I'm begging you!" Rosalie struggled against the cuffs, but her effects were all in vain. The cuffs cut into her skin, but the pain was nothing compared to her breaking heart. "I'm begging you, I'll do anything you ask of me! I do your bidding! Just let them go. Please, I'm begging you, let them go!"
"Rose, I know you're very sad, but trust me, it'll all be over soon," Yerick said.
Theodore turned to look at Rosalie. "Rose, live on well. I'm sorry for everything that has happened. It's not your fault, but mine. Don't be too sad after
I'm gone. I'm not a good man. I hurt you and betrayed you so many times. Don't be sad over my death."
"Theo, no! Don't say that! Please don't say that! I don't want to see you die, I don't want you to die! Yerick, stop at once! Stop!"
Rosalie could only watch on as more and more dirt piled up around Theodore and Wesley, reaching their knees.
Rosalie was feeling more and more hopeless with every minute. She could only say what was from the bottom of her heart.
"Theo, I don't hate you anymore! I don't hate you at all. You're the father of my child! Steve is your son. He's been your son all along, and will be forever. He won't call anyone else his father. I'm sorry for hiding the truth from you all this time. It's my fault for not telling you the truth. I'm sorry!"
What do you think?
