My Gentle Wife is a Real Divine Being CHAPTER 1105

Chapter 1105

Marion glanced at his trembling arm, wracked with pain. The blood trickling from his wound had turned black.

“Marion, tell your woman to behave herself Robert said, his tone eerily calm. “If she keeps going against Theda, I’ll kill her.

The poison began to paralyze Marion’s nerves.

“Or,” Robert continued, “I could deal with you now, then take care of her and her friends. It’d save me a lot of trouble.”

Marion’s eyes darkened. He tried to push himself off the ground, but the venom coursing through him forced a mouthful of blood to spill from his lips.

Robert strode toward him, the blade in his hand glinting coldly.

“Hold it!” Drake called out. “You told me you wanted to talk to Marion. I gave you the chance. But killing him here? That’s a mess I don’t need.”

“That’s your problem,” Robert replied flatly. “I’m here to kill, not worry about your headaches.”

He glanced down at Marion, who was barely holding himself up. “Don’t worry. Your friends and your woman will be joining you soon enough.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Drake rushed up and grabbed his arm. “You’ve made a move against them?”

“Let go.” Robert shook off Drake’s grip, ready to strike when a group of bodyguards swarmed into the room.

Debra appeared, her eyes quickly finding Marion, who was slumped on the floor and drenched in sweat.

Her gaze darkened, flickering to Robert. “Get him!”

“Yes, ma’am.” The bodyguards surged forward.

Debra knelt beside Marion, her eyes narrowing at the darkened wound on his arm. The weapon had been laced with poison.

Randy and Erica rushed in and saw the bodyguards clashing with Robert.

Robert fought like a cornered beast, skilled enough to break through the defenses and dart behind Erica. His bloodstained blade pressed against her neck.

“Stop!” he barked.

Erica went pale, and Randy panicked. “Let her go. We’ll let you leave.”

Debra noted his composure despite the chaos and studied his face. Her mind flashed back to her meeting with Theda at a café. He was there with them, disguised as a barista.

“We’ve met before,” she said icily. “You’re working for Theda.”

Robert didn’t respond, nor did he release Erica.

“You’ve crossed a line?” Debra spat. “When I get back to Seamar City, I’ll make sure Theda pays. Whatever she wants, I’ll destroy it.” noveldrama

“Oh, really?” Robert snorted, holding the knife closer to Erica’s throat. “Watching your friend die in front of you doesn’t bother you?”

“Debra…” Erica whispered, her voice trembling.

Before Robert could tighten his grip, the pain suddenly ripped through his abdomen. Erica had jabbed him hard. In a flash, she twisted his arm and threw him over her shoulder, slamming him into the ground.

Unsatisfied, Erica followed up with a powerful kick in his chest. “How dare you poison Marion and hold me hostage? Did you think I was some weak damsel? You asked for it.”
